Climate & CO₂ emissions
Co₂nséquences
Making climate accessible and desirable, with YouTubers, scientists and plenty of humour.
Humour, dystopian stories, vlogs, mini-documentaries: YouTubers, working with scientists, tackle global warming in their own way to make the subject accessible to a wide audience, while offering concrete solutions to reduce our CO₂ emissions. Released over two seasons, these videos reached several million views.
In parallel, researcher Fatih Uenal (University of Geneva) carried out a meta-analysis on the best ways to communicate and encourage people to take action. Four videos hosted by Thomas Wiesel grew out of it (the Action! project): concrete, free tools for communicators. Season 3 is under way.
